Acupuncture can help you catch more of those all important Zzzz’s!
/ 07 August 2013 / No CommentsAre you someone who gets less than the recommended 8 hours sleep a night? If so then acupuncture could be the solution you have been dreaming of.
A recent survey carried out for the British Acupuncture Council showed that 2 out of 3 of people weren’t getting enough sleep, with money worries (53%), work (35%) and needing the toilet (30%) causing the most unrest.
In addition, 1 out of 10 people were still using sleeping pills to help them sleep, or were engaging in activities such as watching TV (1 out of 5) which make it harder for the brain to switch off.
Acupuncturist, Andy Roscoe, comments, ‘I have seen how beneficial traditional acupuncture is in helping correct sleeping problems. Most of my patients find it hugely relaxing because acupuncture is known to calm the nervous system and also increase the production of feel- good endorphins.’
You can book a session or multiple sessions of Acupuncture with Andy Roscoe, Ross J Barr or Debbie Robertshaw.
