Annual Charity Pamper Event raises over £1,000 for Winston’s Wish

On Saturday 5th October we welcomed members of the public into the clinic to indulge themselves in an afternoon of relaxation and refreshments to help raise money for the Winston’s Wish Charity.

Winston’s Wish supports children, young people and their families after the death of a parent or sibling. They give bereaved families the opportunity to talk about and make sense of what has happened, and to meet others in a similar situation.

We had a number of mini-pamper sessions on offer throughout the afternoon, including Indian Head Massage, Back/Neck/Shoulders Massage, Reflexology, Zero Balancing, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stones Massage, Reiki and Manual Lymphatic Massage as well as providing advice on Sleep issues, Nutrition and Counselling.

The clinic was busy all day with visitors who, in addition to their therapy treatments, enjoyed perusing the wonderful selection of book and plants we had on offer to purchase. This was then all washed down with Tea and Cake and happy customers walking away with some fantastic prizes won on the raffle.

Andy Roscoe, Director and Acupuncturist here at the clinic said;

The event was hugely successful, raising well over £1,000 for the Charity! Myself and the team here at Thame Therapy Clinic would like to extend a huge thank you to every one who donated, to those who provided raffle prizes and to the people who helped with the running of the event on the day. It was a throughly enjoyable afternoon.
