The Thame Food Festival is one of the landmark events in the food calendar attracting visitors from near and far who flock to town to enjoy a fantastic free foodie day out. This year’s festival, which takes place on Saturday 28th September, is set to be the biggest yet and for the third year running, the towns most established complementary therapy centre, The Thame Therapy Clinic, make a welcome return offering nutritional advice as well as some tasty, healthy treats.

On the clinics stand, visitors to the festival will be able to get personal advice about a number of health issues from their experienced practitioners. They will also be able to take away leaflets on nutrition and other complementary health therapies as well as recipe ideas and healthy snacks to complement the vast array of goodies elsewhere. There will be the opportunity to enter into a prize draw to win a free treatment at the clinic and for those who would like more in-depth information about their health, an informative talk about ‘Food Energetics and Dietary Advice.’ will be taking place at the clinic between 1pm – 1.45pm.

Andy Roscoe, co-director at the clinic says, “The festival offers a fantastic, bustling day out for the whole family but for those who seek an alternative to some of the food delights on offer and wish to escape the heaving throng for a while we welcome you along to the clinic. The talk will explore the Chinese view on food energetics and give a holistic understanding of how different foods affect our digestion. A cup of ordinary or herb tea will also be on offer before you head out to the festival.”
