I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor offering one to one counselling in a supportive, safe and confidential space.  I work in a person centred way, directed by what you’d like to bring to each session, and draw on different counselling approaches to suit your individual needs.  I offer both short term and long term work to adults.

I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their ethical framework.

Counselling can help you to explore areas of your thinking and behaviour where you may be experiencing difficulty.

I work at your pace and draw on different theories (Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt) in a way for you to gain better understanding of yourself, in a non-judgemental and secure environment.  I have a calm and reflective approach, am honest yet gentle in my delivery and use my integrity to provide transparency and perspective.

Areas that I work with include: anxiety, depression, abuse, bereavement and loss, relationship issues, identification, sexuality, low self-esteem, bullying, childhood issues, eating disorders, self-harm, family issues, work-related stress.

I also have experience in a NHS setting as well as a secondary school and have a particular interest and understanding of younger people’s issues.  In the past I have volunteered for Low Cost Counselling, an organisation which keeps costs affordable for those not able to seek private therapy by visiting clients in their homes.
