Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist

Rebecca offers sport and remedial massage to people suffering from muscle and joint pain, whether sports related or not.

She has a BTEC level 5 Diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage from the Oxford School of Sports Massage. She has also completed a course in Pregnancy Massage from the London School of Massage, accredited by the FHT and the CThA.

She will begin by assessing the problem holistically, considering lifestyle and physical activities before treating the symptoms with a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, muscle energy technique, soft tissue release, and neuromuscular technique.

She believes in encouraging her clients to understand the possible causes of their pain and provides a realistic rehabilitative programme of strengthening, stretching and mobility work to assist recovery and prevent similar injuries from occurring in the future.

Rebecca also offers pregnancy massage to expectant mothers with specific aches and pains but also to those who simply wish to relax.

She is a fully insured member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM).

Rates

£52 per hour
