Paula Byrne

Paula works with adults, young people, couples and families. She holds a PhD from the University of Liverpool and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University, and is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR for trauma. She is registered with the UKCP through the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Psychotherapy.

Paula helps people with anxiety, loneliness, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, bereavement, trauma, miscarriage, menopause, parenting pressures and life transitions. Her approach is warm and practical, paying attention to the relationships and circumstances that shape each person’s life.
